Pricing With Continuity: 2026 Art Pricing Guide for Collectors

Glide, 2025 - Sold

Every art collector asks the same question as a new year begins: “Will pricing change for 2026?”
Today I’ll answer that clearly and with purposeful transparency.

2026 Art Pricing Update — No Changes

For 2026, my pricing structure remains the same as 2025.
I’ve chosen pricing continuity over annual markup cycles — and here’s why it matters for both collectors and the long‑term art market.

Why My Art Pricing System Stays Consistent

Last year, I published a breakdown of how I price my paintings — including:

  • Square‑inch price ranges

  • Collector‑focused considerations

  • My commission structure for custom work

This was meant to communicate a thoughtful, sustainable pricing system.

And after another year of working with intention, that system is doing exactly that.

Studio Evolution and Artistic Focus in 2025

Over the past year, my studio rhythm has:

  • Slowed and refined, rather than sped up

  • Resulted in fewer paintings (see all 10 completed pieces in this post in 2025)

  • Allowed deeper time with each piece

  • Produced work within a narrower, more cohesive range of sizes

This evolution means my current pricing already reflects how I work now — not how I worked in past years.

Over the course of 2025, about half of the work I created found homes. That matters to me —as confirmation that the pricing structure I put in place is doing what it’s meant to do. It allows the work to move steadily, without pressure or distortion.

Stable Pricing Benefits Collectors

Instead of increasing prices year after year, I’ve chosen to prioritize continuity and predictability:

✔ Collectors can plan and budget with confidence
✔ You can revisit works without feeling rushed
✔ Decisions aren’t impacted by arbitrary price changes
✔ Trust builds through stability, not volatility

For collectors who already live with my paintings, this steady approach matters — long‑term value grows through consistency, care, and artistic integrity.

When Will Pricing Change?

I’ll revisit pricing only when the work itself meaningfully changes — not simply because a calendar flips.

Future pricing adjustments will be driven by artistic evolution, not yearly convention.
