Serene Swimmer Paintings for Art Collectors Seeking Calm & Quiet Beauty
Discover original underwater acrylics and prints that invite reflection, wellness, and tranquility.
It all begins underwater
My paintings invite you into a quiet, meditative world beneath the surface—where sunlight dances on skin, water slows everything down, and movement softens into a peaceful rhythm.
Each piece captures that suspended world below: shifting light, fluid motion, and the blurred boundary between reality and abstraction. Through layers of color and calm, every painting becomes an invitation to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and the serenity only water can offer.
Meet Vanessa: Alberta’s Underwater Artist
Serene Swimmers. Shifting Light. Stillness in Motion.
Vanessa Corrigall is a Canadian artist known for her underwater paintings that explore light, movement, and the quiet serenity of being submerged. A lifelong swimmer, she captures the way water transforms the human form—distorted, reflective, and beautifully abstract.
Collectors are drawn to her work for its themes of wellness, fluid motion, and tranquility. Based in Leduc, Alberta, Vanessa creates from her home studio while also teaching high school art on a reserve and donating 5% of every sale to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Her work invites you to pause—breathe—and enter a space of reflection and calm.
